King's Chandelier Company Finish: Brass vs. Silvery
Finish: Brass vs. Silvery
Finish: Brass vs. Silvery
On the all-crystal models (left), the tier models (below left) and the models Melanie and Ashley, customers have a choice of silvery finish or brass finish. There is no difference in price.

The all-crystal chandeliers and sconces (left) have very few metal pieces, most of which are under crystal. The silvery finish is a nickel/chrome plate over steel and brass. This silvery finish blends with the crystal, making it barely noticeable. The brass finish is a slightly shiny brass plate over steel and brass.

The tier model chandeliers (below left), and the chandelier models Melanie and Ashley, are made of solid brass. The brass choice gives a hand, rubbed finish to this solid brass. The silvery finish is nickel/chrome plate over steel and brass. The brass finish is a slightly shiny brass plate over steel and brass.

The Victorian, gas light reproductions (Jenny 3 shown below) are available in solid brass only. We hand polish and lacquer this brass for a beautiful, rubbed satin finish.
